The regulator’s analysis draws on data from supervisory reviews and scheduled meetings with authorised persons. Officials noted that many companies maintain established governance structures supported by senior management and dedicated function holders. Several operators demonstrated risk-based monitoring programmes and independent assurance processes that integrate regulatory considerations into routine business operations.
Identified Gaps and Sector Recommendations
The review also outlines specific areas requiring further development across the industry. Common observations include concentrated decision-making authority, limited documentation of strategic impact assessments, and incomplete audit records. The authority highlighted structured escalation procedures and dedicated governance committees as effective models for strengthening oversight and accountability.
